Speakers

Shinaz Navas: Shinaz is the Co-founder and CEO of Guider, the go-to education app for Muslims. He was previously an investor at Europe’s leading edtech VC fund where he backed startups that have scaled to >$100m in revenue and raised >$500m in VC funding. Within their first year of operations, Guider has raised $2m from leading consumer, edtech and faith-focused investors

Aysha Ingar: Aysha is a Junior Doctor and the Founder & CEO of Muslimah, the first Islamic app dedicated to Muslim women. Since creating the app, Aysha has won the king’s college London’s idea factory competition, were the semi finalist of the 2020 Islam Channel technology award and even presented Muslimah to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Last year she also won ‘Young Businesswoman of the Year’ at the Saverah Women in Business Awards.

Adil: Adil is the founder at Boycat. Boycat, a BDS app, has scaled to 100,000 users in 2 months and has contributed to diverting over $2,300,000+ in spend to anti-Palestine businesses. With the exponential growth, the app is evolving into a social lifestyle application backed by Tech 4 Palestine and more. By day he is currently specializing in Data Science at Linktree and formerly led product at TrueCar in the United States. Outside of that he works on film, photography, and various side projects in the tech world.
