Bletchley Park Day Trip!

Experience a thrilling journey through the genesis of UK coding history! Don’t miss out on our 2nd annual trip to the iconic Bletchley Park. You’ll have the unique opportunity to mingle with some of the most brilliant minds in coding from the Coding Black Females community as we journey together.

At the park, delve into the world of the first UK coders, get inspired by their tales of innovation and resilience. This isn’t just a tour – it’s an immersion into the rich tapestry of coding history.

Then, wander freely through the myriad of captivating exhibitions at your own pace, each one a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration. This isn’t just an excursion; it’s an adventure into the past, present, and future of coding.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Last year was amazing, but this year we’re stepping it up a notch! Remember, this isn’t just about history, it’s about networking, building connections, and creating lasting memories with the Coding Black Females community.

The plan for the day

• 9am – Meet at London Euston
• 10.30am – Arrive at Bletchley Park
• 12.30pm – Lunch delivered from Eagles Jerk & Grill
• 2.30pm – Guided tour of the history of codebreaking and the enigma machine
• 3.30pm – Take a look at more of the museums (or relax)
• 5pm – Head back to London

We will meet at London Euston train station at 9am before taking the train up to Bletchley Park. For those making their own way to Bletchley Park, please meet us there at 10.30am.

We’ll then have two hours to explore Bletchley Park, the museum and learn about all things code! Lunch will be served at 12.30pm at Eagles Jerk and Grill. After a lovely lunch we will have some more time to explore – you might want to take a look at their new museum on data and intelligence. At 2.30pm we will be guided on a special tour and learn about the history of codebreaking and the first coders in the UK. Lastly we will have some more free time to check out anything you might have missed, or just chill in the grounds, before taking the train back to London Euston. We expect to be back in London by roughly 6pm.
