Most cybersecurity experts move to middle-level cybersecurity professions as architects after working as a cybersecurity analyst for 2-5 years. Penetration Tester (also known as Pen Tester), Certified Ethical Hacker and Threat Hunter are all roles in within cybersecurity architecture. Cybersecurity profession are often expected to work in mid-level cybersecurity roles for 5-8 years, before moving on to senior responsibilities.
